A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Starr for planning, preparing and carrying out THE best Paradigm Gallery in our school's history.  The students and mentors did a great job with the research and presentation of their projects.  Remember, all the students who participated in the Paradigm Gallery will receive $10 off their Feast and Ball ticket.  Thank you all for working so hard and doing such a fabulous job!

Juniors and Seniors, please come to Ms. Hanson's room, #101, immediately after school today to pick up your invitation to the Junior/Senior Tea to be held on Wednesday, April 13th.  ALL R.S.V.P.'s and donation cards need to be turned into the box in the office by THIS Friday.  If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Hanson.

The last Three Dollar Denim Day will be held next Friday, April 15th.  Wristbands will be available for purchase that morning for THREE dollars.  The wristband will allow you to wear any type of shoes, any belt, and jeans.  Jeans must cover all under clothing and cannot have any holes of any size.

The Dutch Oven Cook-Off will be held on Wednesday, May 11th here at the school.  Students who wish to participate will need a partner, only two people per group, and will need to prepare two delectable dishes using Dutch ovens.  More information will be available next week but you should find a partner now and begin locating the two perfect dishes you wish to make.

Feast and Ball will be held on Saturday, May 14th, 2011 at Thanksgiving Point.  This event is formal which means no jeans and no athletic shoes.  Ladies, when looking for the perfect dress, remember that the perfect dress must cover: the shoulders, the back, the cleavage, the belly, and must be at least mid-calf.  Men must wear ties and jackets.  All who are not appropriately dressed will be sent home.  If you have any questions about your choice of clothing, bring a picture to Ms. Hanson or Mr. Seminario for approval BEFORE this event. More information on this event is to come.

Debate is on Wednesday after school in room 221! Also, the brackets for the tournament are getting figured out.  Debate club members need to make sure they are researching the topic and developing your argument on Resolved: The U.S. government should not be expected to use programs for non Americans.

There will be NO Sunrise Yoga this Friday. We will resume on Friday April 15th.

The French Club will be meeting next on Thursday, April 14th, at 3pm in Mrs. Jones' room, 103.  If the weather permits, we will play the French lawn game, petanque (pay-tahnk).  :)  If the weather is bad, we will be having French food and French conversation.  Come and practice your French--and bask in the French culture!

Don’t forget about the book fair this Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm both days! It will be held at the Sandy Barnes and Noble near the South Towne mall.

Applications for the yearbook staff are still available in the library. They are due next Friday before Spring Break.

There are only a couple of yearbooks left for sale! You can pre-order your copy in the office for $50.
