  • It's back! Mock Trial and Debate club has started after school on Tuesdays from 3 to 4. If you want to gain better public speaking skills or learn how to present great arguments, this is the place for you! For the first few weeks we will be practicing our debate and speaking skills. Then starting in November we will begin preparing for next semester's Utah Mock Trial competition. It's a blast! If you're interested, please talk to a member of the club or to Mrs. Christensen. Hope to see you there!
  • Dear Parents & Students: Each year the Paradigm administration issues an academic challenge to its faculty and student body.  These challenges are purposefully selected because they are difficult but richly rewarding.  This year's challenge requires participants to engross themselves in the works of Shakespeare.  All taking the challenge must watch, read or listen to eighteen (18) of Shakespeare's plays.  Any play from Shakespeare's complete works are fair game, but everyone must include the following four: Julius Caesar, King Henry V, The Tempest, and The Merchant of Venice.  Students wishing to participate must add their names to the ranks of challengers by enlisting with Mrs. McCoy, our illustrious librarian.  She will track everyone's progress.  Only full versions of plays will be accepted and the combined Sonnets will count as one play.  During our last week of school special awards will go to all who complete the challenge, our victors!
  • The Outreach and Access Department, in the Utah System of Higher Education, wanted to make you aware that our website  received a facelift this summer that added a great deal more user friendly content to assist you in helping your students prepare and pay for college.
  • The barrier between the High School and the Preparatory School will no longer be open at the end of the day. All High School students must exit and enter through the High School doors and will not be allowed to exit or enter through the Preparatory doors. All Preparatory students must enter and exit through the Preparatory doors at the south end of the school. If you have students in both the Preparatory and High School please ask them to arrange a meeting place outside of the building or in front of the High School office.
  • Newsletter club will start this Wednesday from 2:50 PM Until 3:30 PM. All students interested on working as designers, editors, reporters, writers, photographers or video-makers, please join our great club.
  • Our first outing for the Outdoor Adventure Club will be next Wednesday, September 25th.  It will be an all day outing to Diamond Fork Hot Springs departing at 8:00 AM and returning by 2:45 PM.  If you are interested in going, please stop by room 141 at the end of the day to pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Cavallaro.  The first 12 students to return a signed permission slip will be cleared to go.  You must be in good standing in your A day classes (3 or better) in order to go.
