Dear Paradigm Families,

Here are our announcements for the week:

  • Mid-term grades and comments are now available to view through your student's SIS account. If you need your student's username and password, please reply to this e-mail or contact us at 801-676-1018. Please see attached document for instructions on how to view mid-term/progress reports.
  • Chess Club will be held this Tuesday and Thursday after school. Anyone interested in competing in a chess tournament this Saturday should come by for more information.
  • Don't forget about Slow Jam Wednesday in Mr. Fife's room during lunch and Tunes at Noon on Friday under the stairs!
  • Come join us for Open Social Ballroom Dance practice this Friday during lunch! We will be practicing the tango, cha cha, swing, waltz, and much more! No need to bring a partner. We will be meeting on the stage, so don't miss out!
  • The "What's So Funny?" Shakespeare Core Class will be presenting Twelfth Night next week. Come see this rockin' comedy presented 50's style on November 7th and 8th here at Paradigm. Tickets are $3 per person and can be purchased in advance or at the door.
  • This announcement is for all students interested in art: there will be two art competitions available to students this year. First, the Springville Museum of Art will be accepting art entries for the annual All-State High School Show. Entries will be accepted January 22-26, 2013. This is open to all students. Second, in January 2013, Utah will be represented by four congressional districts. Each congressional office will select a first place award winner and the artwork will be displayed for a year in Washington DC. Winners will be selected from artwork entered into the All-State High School Show presented by the Springville Museum of Art. Please come see Ms. Campbell in room #217 for entry guidelines and deadlines. Good luck!
  • For those who signed up for Driver's Ed with the Wright Driving School for the month of November, class will begin on Monday November 5th at 3:30pm in room #101.
  • Please make sure you check the Scholarships link on our website (under the Counseling and Guidance tab on the left hand side of the page) this week. We have posted some important scholarship info that will be useful to many students.
  • As always, dress code is required on Halloween. We ask that you please leave your Halloween costumes at home. Thank you!

Have a great week!
