On Friday and Saturday, our school was well represented at the State High School Chess Tournament.  As a team, we took 6th place overall and 3rd place in the small school division. William Clark with 2.5 points earned the 9th place individual in 9th grade.
Trevor Tanner & Sam McGettigan each with 3 points earned the 12th and 13th place individuals in 10th grade and Matt Boren lead the team with 4.5 points earned the 6th place individual in 12th grade. Matt Boren also finished among the top 8 speed chess players in the state. Next year, Paradigm will host the State High School Chess Tournament.
