Announcements Monday April 25, 2011

The Dutch Oven Cook-Off will be held on Wednesday, May 11th here at the school.  Students who wish to participate will need a partner, only two people per group, and will need to prepare two delectable dishes using Dutch ovens.  More information can be found in the office or in Ms. Hanson's room.  Registration forms with fee are due THIS FRIDAY - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Feast and Ball will be held on Saturday, May 14th, 2011 at Thanksgiving Point.  This event is formal which means no jeans and no athletic shoes.  Ladies, when looking for the perfect dress, remember that the perfect dress must cover: the shoulders, the back, the cleavage, the belly, and must be at least mid-calf.  Men must wear ties and jackets.  All who are not appropriately dressed will be sent home.  If you have any questions about your choice of clothing, bring a picture to Ms. Hanson or Mr. Seminario for approval BEFORE this event. Tickets for Feast and Ball are $60 and include a buffet dinner, access to Thanksgiving Point Gardens, pictures, and the dance. Tickets will go on sale one week before the dance.

The library has a new policy that you are not allowed to check out any new books until you have paid your fines. Please pay any fines as soon as possible. All books will be due May 13th!

Music choir officers have a mandatory presidency meeting tomorrow during lunch in the choir room. Mrs. Steinmann is bringing treats.

All Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen will be taking the CRT tests on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week. We will have half days all three days, so remember to tell the person who picks you up from school to be here at 12 pm each day! Seniors should have a copy of the Senior Days schedule for those three days. If you don’t, come get one in the office!

As the end of school nears, all students need to have their fees paid off in full. You can check the office window to see if you still have outstanding fines. Students who do not pay their fines by the last day of school, Friday May 27th will not be allowed to register for classes next year. All seniors who do not pay their fines will not be allowed to participate in graduation ceremonies.
