Dear Paradigm Families,

Here are our announcements for the week:

  • Paradigm German students represented their school very well last Friday at the BYU German Fair. Special congratulations to Sharen Brewer, Tomas Schetzel, Rachel Darata, and Stockton Elwood, all of whom received the competitive Best of Fair award. Another shout out to the German 2 classes who participated in the German Conversation category. None of them got less than a superior rating! As we say in German, wunderbar!
  • Get your tickets to the Cowboy Legends Choir Concert this Wednesday April 18th at 7pm at Paradigm High School! Enjoy familiar westerns like "Ghost Riders in the Sky," "Great American Cowboy," a coke bottle quartet, and cowboy poetry! Wear your belt buckles, cowboy hats, and bandanas in support! Tickets are $2 in advance and $3 at the door. Tickets are available from any A Capella choir member or the front office. Come support Paradigm's amazing A Capella Choir!
  • Yearbooks are $50 and can be paid for in the front office! We are so close to selling out and we know everyone will love this year's book!
  • We want YOU on the Yearbook Staff! Mrs. McCoy is looking for motivated, top-notch, responsible individuals to help create another amazing yearbook next year! An application is available from Mrs. McCoy in the library. Applications are due Monday April 30th.
  • Paradigm will be hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament this Saturday beginning at 9:00am. Registration fees are $3 per group and you must register as a team. Registration forms can be found in the front office or from Miss Call and fees must be paid to the front office.
  • Please come to Language Club tomorrow Tuesday in room #144. We will have Latin with Mr. Simmons. All are welcome!
  • Tunes at Noon will be this Friday under the stairs!
  • All students interested in joining Academic Decathlon should attend the weekly meeting today in room #203 from 3:00-4:00.
  • Beginning this week, Math Lab will be held EVERY school day after school! Mentors in the Math Lab are able to help with ALL math levels at our school, so if you have questions or just need a place to work on your math homework, come to the Math Lab! New locations for the Math Lab are posted in your math classes. If you have questions about the Math Lab, ask your math mentor. See you there!
  • Rustle up your recipes and Dutch ovens! The Spring Dutch Oven Competition is on Friday May 18th and if you want to participate, please plan on attending a meeting in Ms. Hanson's room #101 on Wednesday May 2nd during lunch. Come ready with your partner--only two people per group! Questions? See Ms. Hanson!
  • All Juniors and Seniors, please remember to return your RSVP cards to Ms. Hanson by this Friday April 20th if you plan to attend the annual Junior/Senior Afternoon Tea Party. If you have not yet picked up your invitation, please come to Ms. Hanson's room after school today.
  • Students and Parents! We want to remind you that next week is Mentor Appreciation week! The committee of parents overseeing this want to invite you to consider ways to say thank you to your mentors and school staff! Be thinking this week so that you are ready to show your appreciation next week!
  • All juniors who are interested in joining Senior Committee next year should pick up an application in the main office. You must be a senior next year and you must be in good standing with academics, attendance, and behavior.
  • Seniors, don't forget that all outside graduation credit is due by Monday April 30th! NO EXCEPTIONS!

Thank you!
