Dear Paradigm Families,

We have a lot of exciting announcements this week, so please make sure you read all the way to the bottom of this e-mail:

  • Dear ParentsThere has been a lot of congestion lately in the carpool lane on the south side of the building when dropping students off before and after school. Please keep the flow going and if you need to stop for more than the time it takes to drop off/pick up your students, then please pull into a parking stall. We want to get everyone in and out of the carpool lane in a timely manner. Thank you!
  • SENIORS: Our MANDATORY Graduation Rehearsal is coming up in two weeks, Wednesday, May 22nd, at 3:00 pm. This is required for all seniors and graduating juniors who plan to walk at the Graduation Ceremony on May 31st. Please DO NOT miss this! You will receive your cap and gown and graduation ceremony tickets at this rehearsal. If you ordered anything else from Jostens (i.e. announcements), your order is in and can be picked up from the main office.

    Waltz-Off Rules and Regulations

    • Only couples may sign up for the competition.  If you do not currently have a partner, you must find one before you can add your name to the list.
    • You must be available on the dance floor at 8:30 p.m. to compete.  If you are not available, your spot will be given to a Back-Up couple who are ready to compete.
    • The winning couple from each round will receive $50 to split between the partners.

    How it will work:

We begin at 8:30 p.m. with all 30 couples to determine those who will move to the next round and who will compete during the first round.  Twenty couples will be touched on the shoulder and asked to move to the side of the dance floor which moves them to the next level at 9:00 p.m.  The 10 remaining couples will then compete and one couple will be named winner of the Beginner’s Round.

The second round will begin with the 20 remaining couples.  Ten couples will be touched on the shoulder and asked to move to the side of the dance floor which moves them to the next level at 9:30 p.m. The 10 remaining couples will then complete and one couple will be named winner of the Intermediate Round.

The third and final round will begin with the last 10 couples.  Nine couples will be touched on the shoulder and asked to leave the dance floor and the last couple dancing will be named winner of the Advanced Round.

    Have a great week!
